Bus Boys Core Policy & Prorated Charges


To maintain a viable remanufacturing program, we must have good quality rebuildable cores. Thus, we pro-rate against your core deposit for items not re-useable when inspected by our shop or outside rebuilder.  All cores returned must be on a like for like basis only.

Rebuilt Brake Boosters:

If the plastic sleeve under the rubber on the servo is cracked or broken, the core is not returnable. Excessive rust (such as servos that have been sitting out in the rain and allowed to fill up with water) also renders your core non-returnable.

 


Definitions:
Half Core Charge - Unit is acceptable, but only half of the core deposit is refunded to customer. An itemized list of items/reasons is provided to the customer.
Full Core Charge - Unit is not acceptable, core deposit is retained and unit is returned to customer. An itemized list of items/reasons is provided to the customer.


When turning the above core(s) into Bus Boys, Inc., please allow 2 to 3 weeks for inspection and/or credit processing. All core credits are computer processed to the customer and you will receive the credit memo and charge card slip in the mail after processing. 


At Customer's option, items not acceptable are returned to the customer.  The customer pays for all shipping costs.
